Mangal Ho is an upcoming Indian sci-fi comedy film. It is also the second Hindi feature film of Pritish Chakraborty as Writer – Director. The film will also mark Pritish Chakraborty's debut as an actor. It is being produced by Ascent Films Pvt Ltd and actor Annu Kapoor is playing the role of an eccentric genius scientist in the film while versatile Sanjay Mishra is essaying the role of a miser Bengali businessman. It is the first film in the 3 film Mangal Ho series (trilogy) which will be followed by Mangal Ho 2 aka Shunya Shunya Shunya and Mangal Ho 3 aka Somras. Mangal Ho's story is about the first Indian civilization on the planet Mars. The film with an ensemble cast is currently under production. The music of the film is acquired by the music label T-Series.

Pritish Chakraborty started Writing the Film Script of Mangal Ho in January 2013. The Casting Auditions for the Film started with a Contest that was open to the public in February 2013 with a Studio Cut Song Video Performed and Written by Pritish Chakraborty himself. The Research work, Writing, Casting, Location Scouting, Story Boarding and Pre Production of Mangal Ho went on for a year. The Shooting of the film Mangal Ho started in August 2015. The First Look Digital Motion Poster of "Mangal Ho" released on the 68th Indian Republic day, 26 January 2017.[4] The First Look Posters launch of "Mangal Ho" happened on 11 July 2017 with the unveiling of the first character poster of Buddhi De played by Chakraborty Pritish. The First Look Teaser of "Mangal Ho" was launched on the 71st Indian Independence day eve of 15th August 2017.
